Pipy

Pipy is a small application that runs a program installed on your computer, or is probably faster than the conventional method of files and you can probably use it

Once you install Pipy, you will easily have a search bar on your desktop to run a simple series series. Type 'launch' and the application name you want to run and then that program will open. Type 'search' and other words and then search for the program that you want.

Another interesting feature lets you search directly for the Internet. To do this, you only have to use the 'webserch' command and this program will give shortcut to Wikipedia, Google and Youtube for your search term.
