If you like both 3D models and papercraft, you'll love Pepakura Designer, an application for Windows that allows you to create the necessary guide lines in an are to create your own papercraft models out of your Cad files.

Choose the figure you want to create, it can be formatted as 3DS, DXF, MQO, LWO, OBJ, STL, KML and KMZ and take into account that it's not the same creating a dice than a car or a plane or maybe a bumblebee papercraft.

Pepakura Designer can generate automatically the necessary silhouettes to compose the model, although if you feel creative today, you can use the manual mode.
