Send and receive information from your GPS device
As you may have already seen, there are a ton of applications for Mac that allow you to work with the information from a GPS device in different ways.
These tools enable you to, for example, geolocalize photographs and trace the route you used for a trip or workout session.
LoadMyTracks allows you to recover the information stored on your GPS so that you may later use it with one of those programs. Waypoints, routes, and tracks are three data points that the program can pick out.
You can save the data as a file in GPX or KML format; the latter is used by Google Earth.
LoadMyTracks supports different GPS models from the following manufacturers: Garmin, Lowrance, Magellan, Timex, TomTom, and Sony.
