AbiWord is an effective text editor, completely free, fully featured and really fast.

AbiWord is growing and it's becoming more and more efficient, with options and features you can find other, theoretically, good programs.

With AbiWord you can choose basic character layout such as bold, underline or diagonal, as well as advanced character formats such as superscript, subscript, line and paragraph spacing etc.

As another good text editor, you can use tabs, lists, columns, spell-checks, ... and an important feature as well: Unlimited Undo / Restart, it is very important when you're editing your text.
