Audio server for transferring sound between applications

Originally for Linux, Jack OS X is a low VENSI audio server that connects multiple applications on one side to a single audio device; And secondly, audio transfer between different applications.

Jack OS X has four tools: Server Jack and its graphic interface, known as Jackpilot; JackRouter, which uses CoreAudio, provides an application that can be a Jack Server client; And other plugins that encourage all features.

Some applications such as Ardor require the use of the Jack OS X installation.
