Plex Media Server

The plaque is a comprehensive multimedia player whose biggest appeal is to remotely display your movies and from a device. To get the most from this tool, you must install the corresponding server program (Plex Media Server) on the computer where the media file is stored

Once installed, the application will run permanently in the background. From this, you can manage all the folders you want to share with your other devices, whether they are Windows, OS X, or Linux desktop computers; Android smartphones; Chromecast's; Or Game Console like PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and its successors. No matter the device, it will need to install Plaque home theater in order to work it.

The server will allow you to open an administrator page in your browser. From there you can sync your content on devices where you installed Plex (even though you have to register first).
