MediaFire is a free online hosting facility that is able to upload large files and send them to friends even when you're not online.
MediaFire has two different uploading methods, standard and basic, both are equally intuitive, but complexity and appearance are different.
If you use online data file hosting and storage services, the 'basic' uploader will be very familiar. This is a file selector and an 'upload' button. Once clicked, the user can see the file upload progress and the speed at which it is distributed.
It's a file browser, file directory, progress bar, and motion indicator set up to be more interesting than the 'standard' uploader users and to be managed from the MediaWire account (the ability to manage previously uploaded files). While excluding mediafire 'cookies' users cannot lose their account even if they cannot lose their account.
Once the file has been uploaded, the link provided by the MediaFire service can be shared or shared using your own Facebook, Myspace or delicious accounts as well as other social networks.
Free upload comes with unlimited space for your upload, maximum size of 100MB per file, even without registering. If you create a free account, you can manage files previously uploaded by MediaFire. Allows uploading up to 10 GB for uploading a given pro file, direct link to file, no adverts available, back-up copy and advanced statistics and encoding
