KSnapShot is a simple application to take screenshots of all or just parts of your screen. Although it is perfectly compatible with gnome, it is fully integrated into the KDE desktop.
It has five different types of screenshots: the current screen, window, custom area, cursor window and fullscreen.
If you need, you can activate a timer, so you have some time to prepare the screen for the shot.
You can save the image after you take a screenshot, open it in an installed system on your system, or copy it to the clipboard so you can use it later in a document or another project.
KSnapShot is an interesting alternative to other common screenshots applications.
